Privacy Policy
Effective 3 October 2026
Who we are
Vauz builds AI voice agents, AI call center agents, AI chatbots and Vauz Vision. "Vauz", "we" and "us" mean Vauz, Inc. You can reach us at sales@vauz.net.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information that Vauz itself decides how to use:
- when you visit vauz.net
- when you email us
- when you sign in to Vauz Dashboard at dash.vauz.net
It covers the website and dashboard sign-in only. It does not cover calls, chat messages, transcripts or other content that Vauz agents handle for our business customers.
Information we collect
Visiting vauz.net
The site has no forms and no accounts. It is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes the technical data your browser sends with each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We call this "request data".
Emailing us
The contact links on the site open your own email app. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name and whatever you choose to tell us.
Signing in to Vauz Dashboard
Vauz Dashboard uses "Sign in with Google". See "Google user data" below. We also keep a list of the email addresses that are allowed to sign in, which we call the access list. It is held in our Cloudflare account. Vauz puts an address on it at your request or your company's. Access is by invitation, so an address can be on the list before its owner has signed in.
Google user data
What we access
When you sign in, we ask Google for basic sign-in information only (the Google permissions called openid, email and profile). Google tells us your name, your email address, whether Google has verified that address, and your Google account identifier. Google may also include your profile picture; we do not use or keep it. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not keep the access token Google issues during sign-in. We do not ask for access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
How we use it
- Your email address: to check that it is on the access list, to show it to you in the dashboard, and to keep you signed in.
- Whether Google has verified your email address: we only let a verified address sign in.
- Your name: to show it to you in the dashboard. If Google does not send a name, we show your email address instead.
- Your Google account identifier: kept with your name and email address in your sign-in cookie, as part of the record of who signed in.
We do not use Google user data for anything else. You need a Google account to sign in to the dashboard. The only automated checks we make are whether Google has verified your email address and whether it is on the access list.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Where it is stored
Your name, email address and Google account identifier are kept in a signed cookie in your own browser. The cookie expires 12 hours after you sign in. We do not store your Google user data in a database. Your email address is also on the access list described above. Cloudflare, which runs the dashboard, records requests to the dashboard's sign-in service, including the sign-in requests.
Who it is shared with
We share it with Cloudflare, which hosts the dashboard. Google already holds it as your sign-in provider. We do not share it with anyone else, except as described under "Sharing".
How to have it deleted
Signing out clears the session cookie from your browser. To have your email address removed from the access list, or to ask any question about your Google user data, write to us at sales@vauz.net. Signing out of Vauz does not sign you out of Google.
How we use information
We use the personal information above to:
- deliver and secure the site and dashboard
- reply to you
- discuss our products with you if you asked about them
- let invited people sign in to the dashboard
Sharing
We share personal information only:
- with service providers that run our site, dashboard and email for us. Today that is Cloudflare (hosting), Google (sign-in) and our email provider.
- when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Vauz or others
- with a successor, if Vauz is merged, sold or reorganized. Your personal information would stay under this policy unless you are told of a change.
Cookies
Our site code on vauz.net sets no cookies. Our hosting provider may set a cookie needed for security. The dashboard sets two cookies, both strictly necessary for sign-in:
- __Host-vauz_oauth - lasts up to 10 minutes and protects the sign-in round trip to Google
- __Host-vauz_session - keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours
We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Retention
The cookie that protects the sign-in round trip lasts up to 10 minutes, and the session cookie up to 12 hours. Your email address stays on the access list until your access is removed. We have not set a fixed period for keeping email; you can ask us to delete yours at any time. Request data is kept by Cloudflare for the period its service sets.
Security
vauz.net and dash.vauz.net are served over HTTPS, and plain HTTP requests are redirected to HTTPS. Both sign-in cookies cannot be read by scripts in the page and are sent only over HTTPS. The session cookie is signed, so an altered cookie is rejected. We request only basic sign-in information from Google. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that ours is.
Where your information is processed
Our service providers operate in several countries, so your personal information may be processed outside the country where you live.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can ask us to correct or delete it, to limit or object to how we use it, or to give it to you in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it. We may need to keep some records, such as security records, where the law allows or requires it. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. Write to us at sales@vauz.net. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can, and within any period the law sets.
Children
Vauz is a service for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We will post any change on this page with a new effective date.
